I grew up in Ohio with my two younger sisters and parents. I completed my undergraduate studies and medical school in Ohio and moved to Pittsburgh to complete my training. I am a Board Certified specialist trained to treat allergies and asthma in both adults and children and love my job!
I recently moved to Chicago after getting married and am excited to work with Dr. Askenazi. I am compassionate, outgoing, and hard-working. I enjoy reading, traveling, and recently became interested in cooking. |

Research Interests - I have been involved in research for severe asthma including new medications, longitudinal studies which focus on how asthma behaves in patients over time, and perimenstrual asthma; asthma that worsens in females prior to or around time of menses. I have also performed research on vocal cord dysfunction, which often mimics asthma and can make treating and diagnosing these conditions difficult.
I also have special interest in drug allergies and chronic urticaria (hives).
