Advanced Allergy & Asthma Associates/Food Allergy Center of Illinois is a respected medical practice, serving residents of Northern Illinois with three conveniently located offices, in Crystal Lake and Elgin. Our practice was founded on the simple principles of compassion and customer service, blended with the advanced science of modern medicine.

Our physicians and staff members are highly trained, skilled, and deeply caring individuals. Our patients are our friends and neighbors, whom we think of as our extended family. Amy Schack MMS, BS, PA – C

Amy Schack MMS, BS, PA - C, Crystal Lake IL

Amy Schack is a top-level board-certified Physician Associate. She cares for all ages and treats a wide array of conditions, with a focus in allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, and rashes.
She has prior experience in immediate care and orthopedics practices.

Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

  • Bachelors of Science from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL

In her free time she enjoys time with her family, long walks with Loki, her mini husky, gardening, playing board games, baking cookies, and trips to the beach.


Meredith Cirrincione, MS, PA-C

Meredith Cirrincione is a Board-certified Physician Assistant who has been working for 18 years as a PA in Urgent Care, using both her generalized Family Practice training and her Emergency Medicine skills. A large percentage of the patients she treated had allergies, asthma, rashes, or other allergy-related disorders.

She was born and raised in rural Illinois where allergens were abundant. She grew up with many environmental allergies and asthma and in addition to understanding how to treat these conditions, she understands them from a patient perspective too. She takes a holistic approach to treatments and specializes in allergies with her focus on asthma, rashes, environmental allergies, chemical and food allergies.

  • Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Rosalind Franklin University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, IL
  • Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI

She is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.

Meredith is married and has a young daughter. She has been a classical vocalist for three decades and was in the Nashville Symphony Orchestra Choir too. She continues to sing in her church choir and at weddings and events. She is also an avid reader and enjoys cooking and camping outdoors with her family.


Noga Askenazi M.D.

Asthma Specialist in Crystal Lake - Dr. Noga Askenazi

Dr. Noga Askenazi is a nationally-recognized asthma and allergy specialist who is Board-certified in pediatric and adult allergy treatments.

In 2007, Dr. Askenazi went into private practice in Lake, Kane, and McHenry counties with the goal of providing state-of-the-art treatment for individuals suffering from a broad spectrum of allergies and related diseases. She has a special interest in innovative treatments of asthma, sinusitis, also food allergies; eosinophilic esophagitis (allergy-associated inflammation of the esophagus); atopic dermatitis (eczema) and immune disorders; rashes and allergies.

Her primary focus is providing quality care with compassion. She treats every patient as she would a family member, and takes joy in helping patients reach their goals after determining the best treatments together. She works on state and national committees for the advancement of the allergy field and is a consultant for Advocate, Ascension Health, and Northwestern amongst other health care systems. She has been a national speaker and President of the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ISAAI).

She is married, and is the proud mother of a daughter and son. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, biking and hiking. She also enjoys cooking, music, and reading.
