Advanced Allergy & Asthma Associates S.C. is a respected medical practice, serving residents of Northern Illinois with three conveniently located offices, in Crystal Lake and Elgin. Our practice was founded on the simple principles of compassion and customer service, blended with the advanced science of modern medicine.

Our physicians and staff members are highly trained, skilled, and deeply caring individuals. Our patients are our friends and neighbors, whom we think of as our extended family. We strive to deliver the same quality of care and level of service that we would want our own beloved parents, children, or other family members to receive.

Meet our Providers

Meredith Cirrincione, MS, PA-C

Meredith Cirrincione image

Meredith Cirrincione is a Board-certified Physician Assistant who has specialized in allergic, asthmatic and immunological disorders. She had prior experience working in Urgent Care, generalized Family Practice training and Emergency Medicine then followed her personal interest in treating those young and old with asthma and allergies. Having grown up in rural Illinois, where allergy triggers were abundant, she suffered with many environmental allergies and asthma, so in addition to understanding how to treat these conditions in patients with compassion she understands how they impact life from the patient’s perspective too. She has an interest in how Allergy develops, from infancy throughout childhood and how to treat complicated conditions with immunotherapy, allergy shots and biologic treatment. She is very dedicated to her patients, who adore her.

Meredith is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.

Meredith is married, and is the proud mother of a daughter. Friends and patients describe Meredith as an energetic, welcoming, caring, and committed individual. She has been a classical vocalist for three decades and was in the Nashville Symphony Orchestra Choir. She continues to sing in her church choir and at weddings and events. She is an avid reader and when not working, she enjoys cooking and camping outdoors with her family.


Noga Askenazi M.D.

Asthma Specialist in Crystal Lake - Dr. Noga Askenazi

Dr. Noga Askenazi is a nationally-recognized asthma and allergy specialist who is Board-certified in pediatric and adult allergy, asthma and immunology.

Dr. Askenazi went into private practice with the goal of providing state-of-the-art holistic treatment for individuals suffering from a broad spectrum of allergies and related diseases including rashes and sinus disorders. She specializes in coughing, breathing, GI, sinus, food and skin disorders.

Her primary focus is providing quality care with compassion. She treats every patient as she would a family member, and takes joy in helping patients reach their goals after determining the best treatments together. She works on state and national committees for the advancement of the allergy field and is a consultant for Advocate, Ascension Health, and Northwestern amongst other health care systems. She has been a national speaker and President of the Illinois Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ISAAI).

Dr.Askenazi is married, and is the proud mother of a son and daughter. Friends and patients describe Dr. Askenazi as a hard-working, down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and approachable individual with a great sense of humor. When not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, biking and hiking. She also enjoys cooking, music, and reading.


Susan Bockman, FNP

Asthma Specialist in Crystal Lake - Dr. Susan Bockman

Susan Bockman is a board-certified family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for caring for patients of all ages. She is recognized for her holistic approach and unwavering dedication to delivering exceptional care. As someone who has experienced allergies firsthand, she understands just how life-altering untreated symptoms can be. Her experience managing her children’s allergies has also given her a unique and compassionate perspective as a parent.

She earned degree from Northern Illinois University and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has spent years treating conditions that include asthma, rashes, and allergy-related concerns—areas she is truly passionate about.

Susan is married, and is the proud mother of a son and daughter. Friends and patients would describe Susan as a grounding, experienced, compassionate, and friendly individual. Outside of work, she enjoys genealogy research, long walks with audio books, antiquing, and watching football with her family.
