Meeting our team

An allergist and immunologist is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of allergies, asthma, and other diseases of the immune system. Our highly respected doctors are Dr. Noga Askenazi, board certified asthma and allergy specialist; Dr. Eugenia Hahn, board certified allergist and immunologist; and Dr. Sandra Jaeschke, board certified medical practitioner and certified asthma instructor.

Each doctor’s approach to diagnosis and treatment planning is personalized. The doctor typically asks about the patient’s medical history, performs a physical examination and performs specific allergy and breathing tests. Each doctor has the training and expertise to identify the right treatment for each individual patient. The plan usually includes measures to avoid or eliminate triggers of an allergen.

Reasons to see the doctor

There are several reasons to consider seeing one of our doctors. One of our doctors can help you identify triggers that answer questions such as, “Why is my nose stuffy?” If you feel like you have a chronic cold that lasts all year, there may be an allergy causing the symptom. Therefore, it is important to meet with a doctor on our team to help you identify the course of treatment. If you are taking antibiotics for a recurrent infection, there may be an immune issue. One of our doctors can also help you with this concern.

Is it time to see a doctor who has the training and expertise to provide you relief from allergies or an allergic disease? Schedule a consultation with one of ours today by calling our team at (847) 888-8802. We are conveniently located in Crystal Lake and Elgin.
